Self Portrait Snapshot

Laurence taking a self portrait with Ambrose, a good ninety years before that dreadful word 'selfie' came into being! He can't use the viewfinder from in front of the camera like this, so he told Ambrose to sit very very still while he set up the tripod and framed the shot, leaving plenty of space for himself, then got in place and used the long cord to trigger the shutter. He's wearing his favourite mustard-yellow knitted jumper, but of course colour photography is still several decades away, so we can't tell
