Watercolour Couples - The Students

Amyas and Iris, who met during their University years : that wild spirited streak which made them just a little too eccentric and unpredictable to truly fit in among their peers made them ideal companions - two odd individuals who gravitated together and found an immediate and close friendship blossomed. They had not intended to take things further (Iris having attended Suffragette meetings determined that she should never marry and become a man's property and servant, Amyas far more interested in his horses and his hunting than the art of flirting with girls), but soon they had been spending so much time together they found their social circles already considering them a couple, with this little outside pressure giving them a push in what was to all around them the obvious and inevitable direction, they began a romance.

(I don't like this sketch as much as the others, Amyas's face is ok but Iris looks off somehow, and the poses are awfully awkward - I may well mess with it and upload an improved version later if it annoys me once it's posted, heh)
