Time for a bit of frivolous fun with the fictional folk from my story and gallery!
I've set up a Q&A account online, where you can send in questions, but also comments, compliments, insults, teasing them or telling them jokes : anything you like! And I'll post up the replies on their behalf, in character. Just make sure you say who your message is aimed at - 'everyone' is fine, I'll choose some who'd have the most interesting answers or make them ALL reply, or you can pick out certain people you'd like a response from. Beware, they might not all be willing to reply, or may refuse to reveal things they'd rather not!
ALL the characters are up for this, not just Amyas, Peter, Ambrose, Laurence and Cecily who've been illustrated most often - if you've read a scene with someone in, or seen a drawing of them, or even if I've told you sneaky snippets of future chapters with new people (like Wilkins or Edwin, or all Ambrose's sisters), they're available to answer questions.
(You can sign your DA name after your question, if you'd like me - and the characters - to know who's asking, or you can stay anonymous : up to you!)

The 4th Boxing Day Meet of the Harpley Hunt
Once again we don't have very many entries for this year's Hunt, but every single one is appreciated so I'll begin the post with a thank you to each of you who took part!
This event, like real hunting, is never run as a competition, so there's no ranked placings and a winner, but as usual you can still gain a ribbon or two - every time I pick out a few secret categories to reward, so you might find a little rosette pinned beside your entry, you can save them, or edit a thumbnail/link to them into your drawing's description if you wish
So, let's take a look at all the horses, ponies and intrepid riders who braved the chilly wet weather and r
The Harpley Hunt Boxing Day Meet (4)
As December is suddenly upon us, it's time to announce the sixth Harpley Hunt audience-participation art event!
It's not quite HARPG, as there's no competitive element - no need to outdo eachother or worry you're not good enough to compete, it's more just a bit of fun to give everyone a chance to take part and draw a little something to contribute to the day's sport together. Absolutely no limits on style or skill level - all entries will be welcomed, and shared in a Journal post on Boxing Day, so we can all enjoy one another's art and horses.
So, what do we draw?
